Use & Care

Copper ladles are designed to be used for serving. Because they are made of unlined copper, they should not be left in food during cooking or used extensively in highly acidic foods, as this may cause copper to leach into food.

It's normal for copper to develop a patina over time — this doesn't affect performance and can be polished off if you prefer a bright finish. Copper is highly conductive, so it heats up quickly; always use an oven mitt or towel when handling copper pieces that have been near heat.

Safety

All metal cookware gets hot during use — including handles, lids, and utensils. Always use an oven mitt or towel when handling, keep hot cookware away from children, and allow it to cool before cleaning.
