Our exceptional hand forged cookware is all made by hand by Ryan Sanden, the blacksmith artist. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA, made in small batches, ensuring heirloom quality, and is guaranteed for life.
Upgrade your cooking experience by adding a lid to your heirloom cookware collection! Lids are designed to fit our #11 or #13 Carbon Steel Skillets and Roasters, and feature a hand-forged twisted stainless steel handle with leaf detail.
Please note: lids may not fit older models of our skillets built before August 2023.
Each item is handmade, forged, and assembled on our homestead in the USA. All cookware is thoughtfully made, and minor variations, blemishes, and scratches in each item can be expected due to the handmade nature of artisan craftsmanship. These aesthetic variations add to the character of the cookware and will not affect its performance. Minor scratches and dings will fade as your cookware develops seasoning and patina. All items are inspected repeatedly for quality and are guaranteed for life.
Each piece is hand forged, so expect slight variation.
Rust may develop if your lid is subjected to wet or damp conditions, but with frequent use and oiling your cookware will last for generations to come. Avoid soap after the first wash — hot water and a stiff brush are usually enough. Dry your lid thoroughly and immediately after washing, then apply a very light coat of oil to protect the surface between uses.
Protect it between uses: Our handmade Skillet Seasoning Wax, made with beeswax from the hives on our farm and cold-pressed avocado and coconut oil, conditions carbon steel and keeps rust away in storage. Completely non-toxic, just like your cookware.

All metal cookware gets hot during use — including handles, lids, and utensils. Always use an oven mitt or towel when handling, keep hot cookware away from children, and allow it to cool before cleaning.
